stages 2010:

Lü:

40 km trail with approx. 1200 metres of elevation.

From Lü there is at first a light rise then becomes steeper until the highest point of the trail (see photo). After that a beautiful descent to S-charl. Restart in S-charl. Then the same trail back to Lü. A challenging and very beautiful trail in high-alpine terrain in bad weather should not be underestimated.

Prags / Toblach:

55 km trail and approx. 1600 meters of elevation.
The start is in Schmieden (1200 m.) in Pragsertal. We pass Brückele up to the Plätzwiese, then down to Schluderbach.
There we will make an approx. 10 km long loop to Toblach.
Then up again to the Plätzwiese, over to the toboggan trail passing Guesthouse Brückele and then down to Schmieden.
A fantastically beautiful trail. Technically not very difficult.

Sexten:

Thursday evening at around 5:00 p.m., start of the night race into Sexten. A small lap of approx. 15 km will be driven into Sexten. Friday and Saturday mass start in Sexten/Moos.
After the mass start at the Rotwandbahn it passes the campground then over the Kreuzbergpass passing by Alpe Coltrondo (1880 m) and then up to the Kniebergpass. Shortly before the Kniebergpass (approx. 2300 m) it goes approx. 9 km on a ridge towards Casamazzagno and from there back over the Alpe Coltrondo to Sexten/Moos.

55 km trail with approx. 2000 meters of elevation.
Besides the landscape the mass start is the highlight. Technically the most challenging trail of the race and surely the toughest stage of the whole Alpen-Trail race.
